It's been a while.. Rico can can scarf.

Hello people,

It's been a good while since my last blog entry.  Thought it was about time I posted.  I hadn't really knitted anything interesting, just 3 scarves like the red and white one in the pic on a previous entry.

Today, however, I decided to have a go at using the Rico Can Can yarn I bought a few months back.  I love the scarf, it's so pretty!  Not really sure but I would estimate that each ball would make about 2-3 scarves.  I found it tricky enough to start off but I found this really good instructional video on YouTube that made it so much easier.  The instructions on the ball band aren't clear and they're absolutely tiny.  Don't know what I would have done if YouTube didn't exist!

Here are a few pics of the scarf to inspire you!

And finally, me wearing the scarf.  Doesn't exactly go with the pink top does it?  Lol.
Have a go, it's so easy!  To make one like mine all you need is a pair of 8mm needles and Rico Can Can Glitz in shade 002.  The ball of yarn is about €11.  Follow the video and you'll have your scarf in no time!  Took me about maybe 3 to 4 hours.

Enjoy!
